We’re Reopening the Perinera Oven
Wood-Fired Pizza in the Hamlet of Perinera
Are you looking for an authentic Alpine hamlet, rich in history and tradition, where you can also enjoy an excellent pizza? In the hamlet of Perinera, Usseglio, you can have both!
The traditional event organised by the Pro Loco returns to the charming hamlet of Perinera, a small mountain village where time seems to have stood still. As you stroll through its lanes, you can discover old barns, stone houses and picturesque views and, why not, even come across a few cows grazing nearby.
Pizza Baked in the Historic Community Oven
The star of the day will, of course, be the pizza, baked in the hamlet’s historic community oven, specially fired up again for the occasion.
It is a wonderful opportunity to spend a few hours together while rediscovering the flavours and atmosphere of the traditional Alpine hamlets of Usseglio.
Part of the proceeds from the event will be used for the maintenance and preservation of the historic oven, helping to protect this important part of the hamlet’s history.
