This document sets out the General Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter, for brevity, the “Conditions”) of the website corresponding to the domain name discovervallidilanzo.it (hereinafter, for brevity, the “Site”).

(hereinafter jointly referred to as “Unione Montana” or “Owners”).
The Owners have entrusted the management of the Site to the Consorzio Operatori Turistici Valli di Lanzo, with registered office in Fraz. Fè 2 – 10070 Ceres (TO) – Italy, VAT no.: IT08207460018 and Tax Code 08207460018, Tel.: +39 389 8379177, Email: info@discovervallidilanzo.it (hereinafter referred to as the “Manager”).
The Site is not the institutional website of the Owners, but a portal dedicated to the promotion and tourism services of the Lanzo Valleys, Ceronda and Casternone, and the Graian Alps.
1. General terms and conditions of use
1.1) Any person intending to browse the pages of the Site (hereinafter the “User”) acknowledges that access to and/or use of the Site and its services is subject to full acceptance of these Conditions. If the User does not intend to accept them, they are invited not to use the Site and not to download any material from it.
1.2) Browsing the Site constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Conditions by the User. Access to Interactive Services (such as, by way of example, newsletter subscription, account registration, submission of contact or collaboration requests, uploading of materials) is granted exclusively through a point-and-click system via specific non-preselected checkboxes, in accordance with the protocol described in the Appendix at the end of this document.

- “Consumer” (B2C): a natural person acting for purposes unrelated to any business, commercial, craft or professional activity carried out, pursuant to Article 3, paragraph 1, letter a) of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code);
- “Professional” / “Business User” (B2B): a natural or legal person acting in the exercise of their business, commercial, craft or professional activity, or an intermediary thereof. This category includes, by way of example: tourism operators, alpine and environmental guides, accommodation facilities, institutional and commercial partners of the Site.
These Conditions apply to all Users of the Site. Where certain clauses apply exclusively to Consumers or exclusively to Professionals/Business Users, this is expressly indicated in the text. In any case, mandatory provisions protecting Consumers under applicable law, including Legislative Decree 206/2005, shall remain unaffected.
2. Site Content and Services – Disclaimer
2.1) The Site aims to provide general information relating to the activities of the Owners, as well as information on activities, experiences, events, products and services of tourism operators, both public and private, operating in the Lanzo Valleys, Ceronda and Casternone, and the Graian Alps. The services available on the Site include:
- Tourist information about the area;
- Promotion of local events and activities;
- Information on accommodation facilities in the area;
- Download and viewing of content;
- Informational newsletter.
2.2) The information on the Site is constantly checked and updated by the Manager; however, such content may not be exhaustive and/or complete and/or up to date. The User acknowledges that neither the Owners nor the Manager provide any guarantee regarding the completeness, accuracy or updating of the Site and cannot be held liable for omissions or inaccuracies; it is the User’s responsibility to independently verify the correctness of such information.
2.3) The information, photographs and illustrations are provided solely for general guidance and cannot in any way be considered as an offer to the public pursuant to Article 1336 of the Italian Civil Code, nor can they be considered binding for any commercial negotiation.
2.4) Detailed information on services is provided directly by tourism operators, who are solely responsible for content, pricing and availability.
2.5) The User acknowledges that information and/or GPX tracks relating to itineraries and excursions are purely indicative and the result of amateur processing. They are not intended to replace official maps or updated official cartography. Once a trail has been undertaken, it is recommended to follow its natural path and official signage (e.g. CAI).
2.6) The assessment of route difficulty is carried out in accordance with the “Classification of routes based on difficulty in hiking and cycling contexts” (CAI resolution no. 89 of 20 November 2021), for indicative purposes only.
2.7) The Owners assume no responsibility for any damages, physical injuries, deaths or financial losses suffered by Users who choose to undertake the indicated itineraries. Users undertake such itineraries at their own risk, taking into account the typical risks of mountain routes (erosion, landslides, weather changes, snow or ice, etc.). Before undertaking any excursion, it is the sole responsibility of the User to check trail conditions with competent authorities and to equip themselves with appropriate equipment and physical preparation.
2.8) Services are provided free of charge (unless otherwise specified), following the “as is and as available” principle.
2.9) The Owners reserve the right to interrupt, at their sole discretion, the provision of services or to modify them at any time and without prior notice, without the User being entitled to any refund, compensation or indemnity.
3. User Obligations
3.1) The User undertakes to refrain from:
- any improper use contrary to law or public morals;
- actions that may harm the rights of the Owners, the Manager or third parties;
- reproducing, copying or disseminating Site materials without authorization;
- publishing defamatory, obscene, abusive or illegal content, or using the Site for fraud, phishing or any unlawful activity;
- sending commercial or promotional offers without written authorization from the Owners;
- carrying out automated data collection (data scraping, crawling or similar techniques);
- using Site content for training, fine-tuning, validation or improvement of generative artificial intelligence systems or any other automated language or image processing system (see also art. 6.7).
3.2) The User undertakes not to publish confidential information or personal data of themselves or third parties without the relevant consent.
3.3) The User shall be solely responsible for any damages resulting from violation of these Conditions and undertakes to indemnify and hold harmless the Owners and/or the Manager from any damage, loss, claim, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from such violation or unlawful use of the Site.
4. Newsletter Service
4.1) The service is free and activated via a registration form with a double opt-in system: subscription is completed only after confirmation by the User through the activation link sent to the email address provided during registration.
4.2) The newsletter contains tourist information about the Lanzo Valleys, Ceronda and Casternone, and the Graian Alps.
4.3) No regular sending frequency is guaranteed.
4.4) The User may unsubscribe at any time (opt-out) via the unsubscribe function included in each communication or by sending a request to the Manager at info@discovervallidilanzo.it.
5. Linking and Framing
5.1) The inclusion of a hyperlink (link) to the Site is subject to prior communication to info@discovervallidilanzo.it, indicating the details of the requester and the hosting site.
5.2) The link is authorized provided that: it directs to the homepage of the Site; it does not use the Owners’ trademarks or logos without written consent; it does not create confusion about ownership of the Site; it does not create confusion about the activities carried out by the Owners.
5.3) Deep linking and framing practices are prohibited.
5.4) The Owners reserve the right to revoke authorization at any time with simple written notice.
6. Intellectual/Industrial Property
6.1) All content on the Site (texts, photographs, videos, trademarks, logos, graphics, Site architecture) is the property of the Owners or their legitimate licensors. All rights reserved.

6.8) Users guarantee that submitted material is freely publishable and does not infringe third-party rights, and undertake the indemnity obligation referred to in art. 3.3.
7. Warranties and Liability
7.1) The Owners do not guarantee the continuity of the Site, the absence of errors, interruptions, delays or compatibility with specific devices or operating systems, nor the absence of viruses, malware or other malicious code.
7.2) The Owners shall not be liable for direct or indirect damages (including, by way of example, economic damages, loss of data, loss of business opportunities) resulting from the use or inability to use the Site or reliance on the information contained therein.
7.3) The Owners are not responsible for the content of third-party websites accessible via links on the Site. Access to such sites is at the User’s own risk. Any contractual relationships established with third parties via the Site concern exclusively the User and the third party.
7.4) The Owners reserve the right to close, suspend or modify the Site at any time and without prior notice.
8. Personal Data

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction
12.1) These Conditions are governed by Italian law.
12.2) For Consumer Users (B2C): without prejudice to consumer protection regulations – including Article 33, paragraph 2, letter u) of Legislative Decree 206/2005 – in the event of a dispute, jurisdiction lies with the court of the Consumer’s place of residence or domicile, if located within Italy.
12.3) For Professional/Business Users (B2B): any dispute relating to the interpretation, validity, execution or termination of these Conditions shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Ivrea (Italy), with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
