VIULETA 2026
VIULETA 2026 is a renowned widespread event of spontaneous singing and oral tradition music that takes place in Viù. The event, under the artistic direction of the ethnomusicologist Flavio Giacchero, attracts polyphonic groups and singers from all over the Alps and beyond to safeguard this ancient form of socialization and sound culture. The event is notable for the absence of formal stages. The participating groups occupy fixed positions in the various venues and in the streets of the town. In addition to the officially invited groups, stations dedicated to free singing are set up for anyone who wants to join.
