Colle Culmet is a panoramic point of interest that offers an extensive view over the Sanctuary of Sant’Ignazio and the lower Val d’Ala.
The pass serves as a starting point and a transit junction for numerous hiking trails. At the site, there is an equipped picnic area, making it an ideal location for a break in the open air, surrounded by nature and alpine landscapes.
The pass is a key transit point for several paths crossing the territory of Traves, such as the Trek Calcante.
How to visit the site
Various paths lead to this mountain pass. The easiest itinerary starts from Frazione Tese in Traves, where cars can be left in the parking area. From the hamlet, pass the small church of Santi Rocco e Lucia and follow the path on the right marked "Colle Culmet." The destination can be reached in approximately 15 minutes on foot.
