The two-day event dedicated to outdoor activities, Val Grande in Verticale, returns to Val Grande on Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th, now in its tenth edition.
The heart of the festival will be the large garden of the Albergo Savoia in Forno Alpi Graie. Here, starting at 9 a.m. each day, you can register for the event and receive your participation package, as well as try on free EB climbing shoes and SINGING ROCK harnesses, postponements, and insurers.
Numerous cultural activities organized by the Valli di Lanzo Group in Verticale will be held throughout the Val Grande: these include conferences on mineralogy and climate, documentary screenings, including Custodi delle Terre Alte, curated by the CAI Lanzo Video-Photographic Commission. Free admission for all meetings.
On the same days as the festival, the mountaineering sections and schools of the Italian Alpine Club and some qualified professionals will offer outdoor activities throughout the Val Grande area. There will be plenty of entertainment for the little ones, with climbing, mountain biking, and themed walks. For older adults, nature hikes, trad climbing courses, and safety workshops are planned, as well as free climbing trials. Each activity requires a reservation and the possible payment of a fee: the contacts can be consulted in the program.
