A Calendar of Winter Outdoor Activities Accessible to Everyone
Our guides have worked to give the public the opportunity to approach snowy environments safely, promoting snowshoe hikes along easy-to-follow trails. Even those who are less comfortable moving on snow can participate thanks to some outings in the lower valleys, designed as simple walks.
The initiative is called “Trails for Everyone,” reflecting the philosophy of the previous “Mountains for Everyone” program, which this year has been replaced by the current one. This project aims to enhance not only the natural but also the historical and cultural value of lesser-known areas of the valleys, which hide a unique richness and beauty.
For those seeking more adrenaline-filled experiences, the Consortium, together with KOM and its cycling guides, has included some snow e-bike tours in the initiative’s calendar. A different way to experience the mountains, but with the same goals as the hikes: to introduce visitors to the territory while promoting outdoor activities.
Here are the upcoming outings:
- Pian della Mussa, February 7 (snow e-bike tour) with Kom
- Pian Lunella, February 14 (snowshoe hike) with Lanzotrekking
- Madonna del Ciavanis, March 7 (snow e-bike tour) with Kom
- Anello dei Mulini, March 8 (walk) with Lanzotrekking
- Alpe d’Ovarda, March 29 (snowshoe hike) with Alessandro Vangi
- Anello Sistina, April 11 (walk or snowshoe hike depending on snow conditions) with Lanzotrekking
- Anello della Frassa, April 19 (walk) with Alessandro Vangi
